BOTOX® Cosmetic is commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines, and lines on the neck. Made from a purified protein, BOTOX® injections block nerve impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the face a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye a nd neck muscle spasms.

Restylane® is designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours. It is a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. This synthetic acid carries no risk of allergic reaction. The most common areas for treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane remains in your skin for many months.

Radiesse is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body's natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries no risk of allergic reaction (unlike collagen, which requires a skin test) - just one of its advantages over alternative treatments. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, but the most effective areas treated are the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures.

Sculptra™ is a new injectable product used to counteract the loss of fat beneath the skin, a condition called lipoatrophy. Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis layer of the skin to improve the appearance of sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, indentations and wrinkles. There is no need for allergy testing, since Sculptra's main component is an alpha hyrdoxy acid that has been used for 20 years in surgical products such as dissolvable sutures. Clinical trials have shown that the benefits of Sculptra treatments last up to two years.

Captique™ is a new injectable filler designed to reduce wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. Recently approved by the FDA, Captique is manufactured by Genzyme and distributed by Inamed Aesthetics, the same company that produces Zyderm®, Zyplast®, Cosmoderm®, Cosmoplast® and Hylaform®. Like Hylaform®, Captique™ gel is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar that bonds with water to add volume to the skin. Hyaluronic acid is non-animal based and carries no risk of allergic reaction, so no pre-treatment skin test is necessary.

Captique™ works in the same way as Restylane®. The clear gel is injected beneath the skin, where it binds with water to plump up wrinkles and folds, giving the skin a smoother, younger look. Artefill® is used for lip border enhancement, deeper wrinkles around the mouth, and soft atrophic and acne scars.

Juvederm® is a filler product that is used to restore smoother more youthful look to the skin. This product is used to reduce the signs of aging and skin imperfections. Juvederm not only smoothes
superficial lines and wrinkles, it is also used to fill furrows, such as the nasolabial folds, and oral
commissures or marionette lines. This product can also be injected into the cheeks to create or restore volume.

Juvederm is made up of hyaluronic acid in a viscoelastic gel. Hyaluronic acid a substance naturally found in the body’s cells. This allows the cells to bind or hold water, and is responsible for maintaining tissue hydration. Over time the hyaluronic acid will slowly become absorbed, and will disappear gradually with
age. Because this substance is found within the body, and is non-animal in origin, there is no need for preliminary allergy testing.
