Even your cell phone is covered in bacteria that transfers to your face as soon as you pick up a call. Washing your face rids the outer epidermis of antigens while providing much-needed hydration.

Can you climb the corporate ladder with acne?Is acne keeping from achieving the career you’ve always wanted? It may sound harsh, but looks are often a critical make-or-break factor in today’s competitive workplace. Writing for Salary.com, Aaron Gouveia summarizes 7 studies on the affect that height, weight, hair, skin, and makeup have on earnings with the following statement:

Unfortunately, multiple studies show that the amount someone is paid—and in some cases whether or not they get the job—is based, at least in part, on how they look.

That’s bad news for a majority of men and women, considering that an estimated 85% of Americans between the ages of 12 and 24 suffer with acne outbreaks. And while “covering up” might provide a quick fix, using makeup to hide the signs of acne might actually do more harm than good.
