What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is an advanced, nonsurgical cosmetic procedure used to help reduce pore size, address hyperpigmentation, and improve the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars. This treatment is also effective for rejuvenating and tightening the skin. Microneedling can be performed on all skin types as well as fragile skin around the eyes, mouth, and neck. Microneedling can provide drastic improvements in reducing the signs of aging and skin imperfections.

How Does Microneedling Work?

Microneedling uses a unique handheld device with fine, hair-like needles that slide along the skin and penetrate into the epidermis, causing controlled microinjuries. This stimulates the body's natural collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, brighter skin. Microneedling is used as regular skin maintenance and should be repeated to maintain the results.

I have been going to Dr. Busso for almost 15 years. There is no other dermatalogist I would trust more in Miami.

Had the most amazing hydrafacial with Sam. She spent so much time with me and included way more extras than in hydrafacials I’ve had in the past. I left glowing and super relaxed! Thank you!

Microneedling with PRP

Microneeding can also be done with platelet-rich plasma, also known as PRP. With this treatment, you infuse PRP into the skin to improve skin imperfections such as scarring, texture, pores, fine lines, and stretch marks.
